This is the second part of the post...

To say that I was stunned is to use a word that inadequately describes how I felt. I had forgotten about that occasion. But at that minute, I remembered it in stunningly, clear and vivid technicolour video in my mind's screen. God had reserved a blessing for me 23 years before I would use it.

Amazing! Glooooorrrrrryyyyyy! But it took me 23 years to function in a grace that Pastor Chris already had in 1992. So don't be surprised at how I hold this Man of God in so much esteem. Don't criticise me for venerating him because you've not enjoyed the graces that I've received from him. When you receive what I've received, your attitude towards him will be identical to mine.  

My #mhisexpectation is to receive more grace for my future - any meeting with Pastor Chris is a release of grace and other spiritual gifts. I shall receive.  

In a single verse, my #mhis2016 expectation is found in Romans 1:11   "For I long to see Pastor Chris and Pastor Benny Hinn, that they may impart unto me some spiritual gift, to the end I may be established".  This will happen to you also. In 1992 at the final session of the BLW Camp Meeting 1992 at the Main Auditorium of University of Benin [theme - Making the gospel relevant in a postmodern society]  Pastor Chris laid hands on me.

The power released was so strong that I, literally, flew backwards across the stage to land about 30 feet away flat on my back. That was Easter Sunday, 1992. 23 years last year.

Fast forward to the Friday Night Session at BLW International Partners Conference in November 2015 [23 years later] and as we worshipped after Pastor Chris' message, the Holy Spirit speaks to me saying "From this moment, you shall begin to walk in that unction that you received from Pastor Chris when he laid hands on you at that final session of CampMeeting 1992, I have led you over the years to arrive at this point. Go with this grace".

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome......just like Jesus - Part 2

This is the second part of a 2-part Post

.....He [Pastor Chris Oyakhilome] ministered to the sick during that meeting in such a unique way: first, he called those who needed healing forward and asked them all to stand in a straight line facing the congregation. Next he asked those who have always wanted to heal the sick to indicate this by raising up their hands; then he picked two of the lot – one male the other female. He told them to start at both ends of the line, take each person by the hands, look into their eyes and smile. 

The result? Amazing miracles…one after the other, they testified that God had healed them; it was simply awesome. Just imagine, as far back as 1988, Pastor Chris was already healing the sick, how much more now.

You will agree with me that whether it be on TV, at the Healing School, in a leaders meeting, Church Service or major outreach program, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome carries with him that tangible presence of the Holy Ghost; when Pastor Chris ministers, you feel the love of God....it’s in his eyes, it’s in his words and it’s in the moments of worship, he invokes the presence of Jesus Christ wherever he is. 

When you attend a meeting with Pastor Chris or you are listening to a taped message or watching a broadcast, you are literally transported into the very presence of God, and repeatedly, people testify of one thing…..

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is just like Jesus.

I'm sure now you better understand why I am looking forward to the Miracle Healing & Impartation Services with Pastor Chris Oyakhilome & Pastor Benny Hinn with great anticipation. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome......just like Jesus - Part 1

The name Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has become synonymous with the miraculous but there is one other even more striking phenomenon that is evident in the life and ministry of this great man of God. To explain it, I want to tell you about my very first encounter with this great general of our time, this would be the first time I would hear him teach God’s word and watch him minister.

It was in 1988 and it was on Campus – then I was an undergraduate and I was actively involved in a Christian fellowship group in my school. We traveled four[4] hours from my University Campus to attend this Christian Conference organized by a sister fellowship group; Pastor Chris was one of the invited guest ministers and I will never forget that meeting and the impact it made in my life as a believer.

The interesting thing is that I cannot tell you much about the verbal content of his message that day, though of course I remember bits and pieces of it, but what it left with me was the impartation of the Spirit. There was something about him and the way he walked, talked, and ministered that just brought home the presence of Jesus. It was so intense; it was so real…..we were transported right into the presence of God in a moment of time.

This is most definitely what the temple police experienced in John7:46-47 [JB

Phillips] when they were sent to arrest Jesus – after listening to him, they went back to the Chief Priests and Pharisees empty handed and confessed: “No man ever spoke like that!” to which they replied “Has he pulled the wool over your eyes too?” 

I remember as we traveled back to school, there was a general consensus in the bus – Pastor Chris is just like Jesus.
